For about a month i’m Missing In Action. Cool brothers … i’m not going to quit blogging yet. It just that, Facebook taking most of my time. Hahahaaaaa.. what an excuse. By the way, I just wanted to update about my son’s progress. He is now 8th month old. He is now learning to stand on his own. Wow! I can’t wait for him to get bigger - I already imagine how I will run with him side by side on the jogging track. Video shooting together.

KDKC Media Production is looking for aspiring junior photographer.

a) You should posses own camera ( Preferably Nikon user - since we are Nikon user too ).

b) You must willing to learn and opened to any up building criticism. ( Don’t worry - this is how we show our appreciation )

c) We work long hours. We are the first to come and last to leave.

d) Having your own transport would be extra advantage. But we still be very flexible on having you on board with our cars.

e) Last but not least , we are easily a target victim of drunkard guest, so .. they will normally force or draws you into drinking tapai, beer, lihing, montoku or wine with them. In this area, either you are a good drinker yourself or good at avoiding these people.

f) We are a strong believer in a work commitment. If you think you can handle this, then you have won half the battle.

A 5 minute presentation by The Magellan Front Office staff. This video was submitted for their annual inter-department sketch and drama presentation in conjunction for the theme ” Simply Memorable “. And this video merged as the overall winner for year 2009. The video outcome could be much better if it was not done on last minute. Shot in just 4 hours and edited within 1 day. I should go for the 48hours video challenge competition next time.

The Resort’s Guest Service Manager, Madam Edna Majimbun called me to do a video shooting for their inter-department sketch and drama presentation which is another few days ahead. At first, I was not really sure if I can meet the dateline as the whole process would take sometime to do pre-production planning, production process and the post-production work. Since I know some of the ‘talents’ involves - I thought, it would be easier to work with them. So I requested Edna to send me the script. It was indeed a very interesting script. I asked her to print out the script and distribute to the rest of the involved ‘talents’ for them to memorized their line. Gave them 2 days to practice.

So, I met up with Edna 2 days later to further discuss, only to find out the original script was replaced to another one. Actually no written script yet! but just a rought idea on a piece of paper. So, we spent few hours to brainstorm the new script. We end up with just a simple storyboarding sketch cause those actors involves will do their line spontanuosly- ( this will make editing process quite challenging ). We had no choice but to carry on with the shooting with just simple storyboarding and ‘unsure’ spontanuous script!

During the shooting time, we split those scenes into 2 hours on day time and 2 hours during the night. We had so much fun especially dealing with non-scripted line which sometimes erupts some comical and hillarious dialogue! I must say, those ‘talents’ involves are very easy to work with and natural ‘actor & actress’. Otherwise we could end up shooting the whole day or even more than 2 days! Anyway ! Congratulation to all people involved.

With those wow ! figure .. I can’t help but imagine if ever one of my video will ever get such a huge hits. So i watched the video and found out it is really funny. But to get over 100 million hits is just too much for this video cause there are so many other video that funnier than this one. I do admit I enjoyed this video, it remind me of myself when I was still a teenage boy, joining dancing group and perform on stage. That was when my figure still intake, slim & feather weight. Hahahahaaaaa…. OK enjoy the video !
